Introduced in 2025 after years of careful planning, Eternal Oak is a unique memorial woodland created to provide a beautiful and lasting place of remembrance. Planted across one acre, the woodland has been thoughtfully designed in the shape of our logo – a majestic oak tree with roots entwined to form a heart, symbolising love, connection and enduring memories.

At the heart of Eternal Oak lies a vibrant wildflower meadow, bringing colour and life throughout the changing seasons. As the woodland continues to grow and mature, additional planting will complete the tree’s roots, creating a remarkable living memorial that will remain for generations and can even be viewed from above on Google Earth.

Eternal Oak offers families a meaningful alternative to traditional memorial plots, providing a peaceful place to remember a loved one in a natural setting without the need to purchase a burial plot. The woodland has also been featured in Northumbrian Magazine, recognising its unique design and thoughtful approach to remembrance. 

How does it work?

Your loved ones ashes will be carefully placed into our rose gold scatter urn, then as you walk between the trees and long grass of Eternal Oak, the ashes are dispersed during this peaceful moment. 

You can choose to mix wildflower seeds with your loved ones ashes, which will help us continue our reseeding of this sacred area.  

A simple green slate plaque will then be mounted on the oak birds mouth fence which surrounds the meadow.
